Profesor de Dermatolog\u00eda de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de M\u00e1laga. Especialista en Fotobiolog\u00eda Dermatol\u00f3gica trabaja en todo lo relacionado en luz solar y artificial y su relaci\u00f3n con la piel. Es experto en fototerapia y fotodiagn\u00f3stico as\u00ed como especialista en investigaci\u00f3n y divulgaci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples herramientas de fotoprotecci\u00f3n enfocadas a la prevenci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer de piel. Desarrolla actualmente nuevos m\u00e9todos de medida de factores de protecci\u00f3n en fotoprotectores t\u00f3picos, asi como el desarrollo de dispositivos y t\u00e9cnicas de fotodiagnostico y terapia fotodin\u00e1mica . Ha publicado m\u00e1s de 120 art\u00edculos, 20 patentes, participa en m\u00e1s de 40 proyectos y 30 contratos y ha realizado 6 estancias de investigaci\u00f3n en centros extranjeros.
